Schnucks

  • One of the two “classier” stores for the average consumer (I don’t consider Straub’s to be for the average consumer!)
  • Many convenient locations throughout the Metro area
  • Often runs “10 for $10″ specials
  • Doubles coupons up to forty cents
  • I have only been able to view their ads online using Internet Explorer, not Firefox
  • Some stores are open 24 hours
  • Some organic produce and products
  • Personally, I believe this is the most expensive of the three local stores (Shop-n-Save and Dierbergs being the other two). The only thing I consistently go into Schnucks to get is aluminum-free baking powder in decently sized containers. Otherwise, I go in strictly as a last resort.
