St. Louis Grocery Stores – Schnucks
This is the second in a series on grocery stores in the St. Louis area. To see the other posts in this series, click here.
- One of the two “classier” stores for the average consumer (I don’t consider Straub’s to be for the average consumer!)
- Many convenient locations throughout the Metro area
- Often runs “10 for $10″ specials
- Doubles coupons up to forty cents
- I have only been able to view their ads online using Internet Explorer, not Firefox
- Some stores are open 24 hours
- Some organic produce and products
- Personally, I believe this is the most expensive of the three local stores (Shop-n-Save and Dierbergs being the other two). The only thing I consistently go into Schnucks to get is aluminum-free baking powder in decently sized containers. Otherwise, I go in strictly as a last resort.
