Save-a-Lot

  • A store for the budget-conscious, with a feel somewhere between Aldi and Shop-n-Save
  • Accepts manufacturer’s coupons
  • “Smart Shoppers Club” offers $5 off $25 coupons when you sign up, and then again when you refer friends. You must reach $25 before tax and after any other coupons you are using.
  • Printable store coupons are available on their website here
  • Carries a variety of brand-name and off-brand items
  • Does not, to my knowledge, carry organic products
  • Use your own bags or pay to use store bags
  • To my knowledge, no stores are open 24 hours
  • Often has good deals on produce and meat
  • Personally, I have never shopped at a Save-a-Lot, though I have walked through the store to get a feel for it. After seeing first-hand what they have to offer, I think I’d be willing to give the store a try if I had a $5 off $25 coupon.
