St. Louis Area Parks: Wehner Park

By frugalouis On October 21, 2010 · Leave a Comment

St. Louis Area Parks: Whitecliff Park

By frugalouis On September 28, 2010 · Leave a Comment

In centrally-located Crestwood, Whitecliff Park is one of our favorites. It’s beautiful and refreshing with a wide variety of choices. What you should know before you go to Whitecliff Park: Eighty-five acre park with trails that lead around a quarry-turned-reservoir. My husband and I have gazed at this lovely site and pondered how far it [...]

By frugalouis On August 28, 2010 · Leave a Comment

For our “Family Adventure” this week, we headed over to Watson Trails Park in Sunset Hills. We had been there before, with and without kids, but had never really taken the time to explore it as a family. And it is definitely worth exploring! Here are some important tidbits to know before you visit Watson [...]

St. Louis Parks – Carondelet Park

By frugalouis On August 25, 2010 · Leave a Comment

Whether you live in the south St. Louis city area or simply want a new park to explore, Carondelet Park is worth putting on your list. While I find that St. Louis City parks are generally not as well-kept as the County parks, they are nonetheless wonderful in their own right and worth checking out. [...]
